Summary: Raziya (Jyothirmayi) is an investigative television reporter who believes in incisive and fair reporting. One day during the Gujarat riots she is trapped in Ahmedabad where she had gone for a wedding. On her own instinct she takes the pictures of the brutal communal violence on her handycam. Back home in Kerala she tries to telecast it on channels but the management in not interested in her viewpoint and asks her to get a sponsor for the programme! This spurs her to make a documentary on what would happen if Kerala turns into a Gujarat? She has help in the form of Suraj, her best friend (Biju Menon) and an aspiring director. During the Marad communal riots they seek solace in Raghavan (Lal) and Kamala?s (Rati Agnihotri) house whose son Kishore (Nishant Sagar) is a Hindu fanatic who sparks the riots. And when the son comes to know that his parents are protecting Razia, a Muslim it leads to further tension.
