Summary: A violent wrestler father rears his motherless son Hari in 40's India. Hari sneaks away from the 'akhada'(wrestling ring) on the banks of the Ganges to practice a flute he has stolen from an innocent boy, a passing stranger. He hides in the temples to escape from wrestling and from his father 's wrath and goes on to become the Legendary Flautist 'Hariprasad Chaurasia'.
