Summary: One in five people are dying every day as a result of unsafe drinking water. On June 1, 2007 20 runners left from the steps of the United Nations in New York, and ran 24 hours a day through 16 countries, on the first ever, relay run around the world. Their mission: to raise money and awareness for the millions of people who do not have access to safe drinking water.
