Summary: Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers from around the world come together to share with us their ancient environmental wisdom and sacred earth-based traditions, shining their light on a path to sustainability. In the film, introduced with the story of the director, who received a healing from Stage 4 Lung Cancer in a Native American Church ceremony. we see the Grandmothers, led by Tsering Dolma Gyaltong, their Tibetan Grandmother, as they visit Dharamsala, India. Here in the capital of the Tibetan Government in exile, atop the majestic Himalayan Mountains, we experience with them a series of moving events culminating in a meeting with HHS the Dalai Lama that is magical and funny as well, just like him.
