The film is based on the hypothetical concept of Parallel universes. However, as the notion of two things being Parallel to each other dictates the criteria of them never merging - that has been somewhat defied here. So they(events per se) are not completely Parallels but Parallels, almost. The film revolves around a boy in his twenties, his group of friends and the factor that binds them, 'the cigarette', quitting it or smoking it. The film also deals with the mundane events of the small town Indian youth - their perceptions, conversations, constraints, societal norms, peer pressure and language. Poetry, music, rough visuals and a person shuffling between two worlds through the smoke and utter confusion of overlapping yet mutually exclusive and exhaustive events.
