Summary: Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's "The Tell-tale Heart," the film begins soon after Trevor Smith has brutally murdered a man he knew well, only because he was irritated by the man's blue eye. He then heads out hastily to destroy evidence, but finds himself staring deep into a reflection of his own inner conscience. He finds his world collapsing around him, his senses playing tricks on him, and realizes he is being driven to insanity. Is there any way out for him?
