The Wadias were great admirers of American action films and serials, and over the next decade made their magnum opus entitled Diamond Thriller Series. hese films featuring the gutsy, blond Fearless Nadia (nee Mary Evans) went against the prevalent docile heroine stereotype and also contained indirect nationalistic messages.’.
