Summary: A film is about the history of co-operative movement which began in 1904 and its present status. The Indian Farmers Fertilizer Corporation (IFFCO) is the single largest co-operative society in India. It is also single largest producer of fertilizers and only producer of fertilizers in the co-operative sector. The co-operative movement in India is 75 years old. Even during the British period, Sir Frederick Nicholson propagated the message of co-operation. In 1912, the first legislation to support growth of the co-operative movement beyond mere credit societies was introduced. The spirit of co-operation has now gone into manufacturing, processing, marketing, distribution and several other areas. The National Co-operative Union of India (NCUI) is an effect organisation of the entire co-operative movement in the country.
