The present War has accelerated recruitment into this regiment and there are shots of recruits enlisting, taking the oath of fealty and being turned rapidly into smart and efficient fightingmen worthy of the Madras Guards.
Filmed against the background of Fort St. George and other historic sites of Madras, this documentary brings out the sense of loyalty and patriotism that underlie voluntary recruitment in this country.
