Director: Kenneth Villiers; Producer: Ezra Mir
Summary: This is a very interesting documentary about the men recruited for work such as the building of runways and the hosts of other requirements that the war has brought in its train. The men are recruited from India's far-flung villages and turned into healthy, useful and disciplined workers. Apart from the benefits of the training they receive which will be of use to them both during and after the War, the film stresses the advantage of men from different parts of India working side by side, which is undoubtedly the best method of promoting Unity. It closes with a spectacular shot of a Map of India formed by the men at drill, a contingent from each part of the country proudly holding aloft the name of its province.
