Director: Ezra Mir
Summary: This is another film on a domestic subject which has proved vastly popular with female audiences. It shows what an important part the needle and thread play in domestic happiness and brings out the lesson by cleverly contrasting a negligent housewife with a painstaking, diligent one. The shabby husband provokes mirth as well as pity, while the success of the spruce, neatly clad one is a tribute to his wife's care and devotion. Towards the end there are sequences which stress the importance of saving cloth for War Purposes and hint at the great indirect contributions every woman can make to the War Effort by plying her needle and thread with care.
