Summary: This is a shortened re-made version of 'Seamen of India'. The Indian Sailor once again visits his village but this time his narrative is restricted to the work done by the Royal Indian Navy in escorting and protecting a large convoy. The commentary is written as though it were actually spoken by the Sailor and he uses village symbols to explain to his listeners who have never seen the sea, what ships, convoys, and waves are like. This highly imaginative treatment adds to the realism of the picture which contains some excellent shots of a convoy moving out of Bombay harbour, a huge caravan of ships, which planes, mine-sweepers and naval escorts see safely across the seas.
