Summary: By a happy coincidence this delightful film on Domestic Economy recently figured on the programme of a Ladies' Show at a large theatre in an important Indian City. The audience was composed almost entirely of practical housewives and the applause that greeted such suggestion for economy proves the vast scope there is for such films about the home. The film shows a variety of ways in which fuel, food, etc. can be conserved by the exercise of a little care and thought. Though mainly for wives, the film did not entirely overlook their lord and master - the husband. For he can help to avoid wastage at home too .... by switching off that electric light or fan for example. The film contains many such amusing and topical instances.
