Summary: The film traces the history of age-old ties of friendship between two great
neighbours of Asia-India and China, and shows how the latter stabbed a
friend in the back by launching an unprovoked offensive across the
Himalayan frontiers on October 20, 1962. Describing the Chinese onslaught
on the Indian soil as an act of 'Great Betrayal', the film depicts the reactions it
has created in this country and abroad and the part played by the people of
India to defend their motherland.
