Summary: A dramatised war propaganda film.
One of the earliest pictures produced to encourage recruitment to the Army, this short film in Hindustani tells how a Punjab ex-serviceman from the last war prevails upon his son to follow in his footsteps and fight the enemies of India. The background of music and song lends considerable entertainment value to this film which is well written, well acted and produced especially to appeal to Indian audiences. As such it was a successful vehicle for conveying its message of patriotic duty.
