A sequence on Indian troops in the Desert War. Recreation (hockey, soccer, basketball, wrestling, traditional dancing), an Indian Pipes and Drums band. Commentary explains how army has overcome the divisions of India, and replaced some less desirable traditions - but also speaks proudly of other traditions, sporting achievements etc, and voices some anti-Mussolini sentiment.
