Summary: This film introduces one of the most prominent and progressive writers of
India, Krishan Chander. His literary works such as Panch Loafer, Daani,
Mahalaxmi ka Pool are described. The film also introduces Joe Ansari and
KA Abbas, two writer friends of Krishan Chander, to whom he narrates his
biography. Krishan Chander's short stories and novels have been translated
into sixty languages of the world. In 1955, he had gone as a member of the
Indian film delegation to China. Government of India awarded him the
Padma Bhushan.
