Summary: Set in the isolated, secluded mountains of Ladakh. Bongu is a story of a boy and his donkey. Shot in the Indian Territory of Baltistan, at 3000 meters in the grueling winters, Bongu happens to be the first ever Balti film to be shot in the region's recorded history. Its a story about a child's fear and faith. It is about the bond he shared with his only friend, Bongu (Donkey). It is a story about the uncertainties of life and how quickly life can strike a high and a low note all together.
