Summary: The film is in the form of a conversation between a girl and her grand aunt with whom she spent all her summer vacations in her village. She lives far removed in the big city, works as a sound recordist now. While recording sound at various places in the city, Mumbai, listening to these intently she realizes, there is a new detachment from her village, from her aunt. Two screens run simultaneously throughout the film giving a notion of a letter. The dialogue arising from the two screens trigger a sense of conflict between the inside and the outside, the old and the new, land and the sea, night and day, village and the city, visual and aural.
