Summary: Jainism is an ancient Indian religion which has non-attachment and non-possession as a few of its core principles. 'Green Beings' gives an insight into an extremely low consumption lifestyle in today's world, using a group of Jain monks as its subject. The film presents a contrast, as an "emerging market" like India changes rapidly, while some parts of its life remain constant.
