In this film it has been shown as to why the government was compelled to increase the price of petrol. It therefore becomes the duty that we use the petrol with economy and the country moves on the path of prosperity.

In this film it has been shown that the government did not increase the price of kerosene oil so as not to put the poor sections of our society towards more hardships. But all of us should see to it that unnecessary use of petrol is avoided and the country saves foreign exchange and also moves forward.
Our Duty - V (B.K. Bhan) (Hindi) (1.18):
It is depicted in the film that to alleviate the burden on the poor, the government is subsidising kerosene oil by three hundred crore rupees. There will be stringent measures for controlling petrol and diesel by adulterating the same with kerosene oil.
