Summary: Podampeta is a quaint village on the coast of Ganjam, Odisha, India. For over a decade, the village has been crumbling down and losing parts of itself to the sea. The hungry sea shows no mercy either, as it hits the hamlet with a cyclone every other year owing to its prime location at the aperture of the Bay of Bengal.
