Summary: Boy living with his widowed mother, who is struggling with sleep and is attributing it to bedbug infestation. This boy, resulting from the difficult situation in his life, has developed emotional maturity which is much ahead of his age. The absence of his father brings about a sense of longing and confusion about his identity and role model. In high school, he gets to play role of Karna from the epic Mahabharata. With his friend portraying the character of Kunti, Karna's mother, they diligently rehearse scenes together, delving into the emotional depth of their roles. While both of them continues to rehearse through the play, the boy's mother is forced to dive into her past. Despite his efforts, the boy continues to suffer from sleepless nights. Determined to find a solution, he sets out to eliminate the bedbugs himself and unexpectedly uncovers truths about his own life. These revelations bring him a newfound understanding, enabling him to reconcile with his dreams and he finds peaceful sleep.
