Summary: A romantic adventure story about Anil (Masood) and Roopa (Nurjehan) who were promised to each other as children but start off their adult acquaintance on the wrong foot when Anil hands Roopa over to the police for resembling a face on a ‘wanted’ poster. They meet again when both become journalists on the same newspaper owned by Mukesh (Aman), who also fancies Roopa. The film boasts six Nurjehan numbers, including the famous Ab to nahin duniya mein apna thikana.
