Summary: Gamphu, a migrant laborer from Uttarakhand, works in Delhi. During the Covid pandemic he, along with his wife and daughter, goes back to his ancestral village. He considers the possibility of staying back in the village, but would that really be an easy shift? Through the video calls with his cousin, the backstory of Gamphu slowly unfurls. The story reveals that his initial departure from the village was driven not solely by economic necessity, but by false impressions on the young mind, and a quest for social validation. These motivators and concerns still haunt him. The question of staying or leaving the village, therefore, is not an easy one.
