Summary: Kanaran is a timber mill worker.He is called Kunjettan by children and old men alike. He is loved and respected by one and all. He worked hard and struggled a lot to provide good education to his son so that his son would one day become a very high official. That was his late wife's wish before she died. But the son never cared about his father. Kunjettan wished so much to live as a family with his son and to caress his grandchildren. Unfortunately the son becomes a drug addict and slowly gets mad and roams around the street without food and ultimately starves to death. The degradation of an educated youth to a drug addict and a mad man culminating in his death is depicted in this movie.
