We are going to travel to the south of sub-continent to experience this mesmerizing art which is on the brink of extension , subjected to the tradition called Banjara. India is a country where several ethnic groups coexist in society and where diverse civilizations coexist. India is a varied subcontinent with over 140 crore people and thousands of different traditions and cultures. In the past, Hyderabad was renowned for its residents embracing traditional attire as part of their daily routine. The city stood out as a place where the traditional dress was not just reserved for special occasions, but rather a common sight in the streets and neighborhood's. In the past, Hyderabad was one of those cities where people wore traditional attire on a daily basis. Over time, the traditional clothing in Hyderabad has gradually faded away, making way for modern attire. Interestingly, this shift has predominantly taken place in the rural areas, distancing itself from the bustling city life. Regrettably this mesmerizing art form, intricately threaded into the very fabric of India's cultural heritage, is facing the looming peril of extinction, even in the rural outskirts of this city and this mesmerizing art which is on the brink of extinction, subjected to the tradition called Banjara In the past, the traditional dress was a daily attire in cities. However, it has now been replaced by sari's in urban areas. A mesmerizing art form intricately woven into the tapestry of India's cultural heritage, faces the looming threat of extinction. We are going to travel to the south of sub-continent to experience this mesmerizing art which is on the brink of extension , subjected to the tradition called Banjara. Yellamma Thanda is situated in the Rangareddy district, 60 kilometers from Hyderabad. About 300 craftspeople live in Yellama Thanda.
