Summary: A biographical film on the world renowned ornithologist Dr. Salim Moizuddin Abdul Ali(Dr. Salim Ali). Born in Bombay on 12th November, 1896, Salim's interest in birds began when at the age of ten he had shot a sparrow with his air gun. Later he was introduced to the Bombay Natural History Society by his uncle. Salim Ali spent his lifetime in company of birds. To his credit are many original contributions to the study of bird life in India. The great ornithologist and environmentalist, Salim Ali has also penned many erudite and informative articles on the subject. The film shows Salim Ali, in the autumn of his life, in great company of birds.
