Summary: Bombay-based Physical Instructor, Master Amar, is smitten when he hears Andheri-based Sheela Rani sing on All India Radio in British-ruled India. He gets to meet her and her blind father, they get married, and she moves in with him in his flat. Shortly thereafter they are joined by his childhood friend, Mohan, a freedom-fighter with a reward of Rs.5000/- on his head, who also moves in with them. After a few days Amar finds Sheela has become very friendly with Mohan, and he starts suspecting of the duo having an affair after she starts to ignore him. Suspicious, he quits his job in order to see what exactly is going between the two. When Mohan offers monetary help, Amar decides to notify the police and claim the reward.
