Summary: Telugu melodrama unusually derived from the Bengali literary idiom. A childless zamindar (Ranga Rao) wants to marry again but his wife (Shantakumari) then feigns pregnancy and adopts her maid’s (Lakshmirajyam) child. The film deals with the problems of the maid, and then those of the child (Vasanthi) who discovers her real mother.
