Summary: The wealthy Rai Saheb Motisagar passes away at his castle known as Moti Mahal, and within days his young son, who was traveling by train with the family maid, disappears.
At the castle, Rai Saheb’s nephews, Jugal and Shekhar, have gathered to hear the reading of the will by the lawyer, Vakil…but then the lawyer vanishes, only to be found dead later on. Shekhar becomes the prime suspect.
With the police on his trail, Shekhar escapes to the city where he meets a doctor and his daughter Roopa (Suraiya) who both try to help prove his innocence. Remake of The Cat and the Canary.
