Summary: Financed by the Thai Government this film was to celebrate the 2500th anniversary of the Buddha (6th century BC). The tyrannical Angulimal (Bhushan), a bandit wearing a garland of severed human fingers and who engages in bloody mystical rituals to achieve divine power, eventually succumbs to the Buddha’s teachings. Nimmi played Angulimal’s lover and Hemen Gupta was originally announced as the director.
