Summary: This melodrama, made in 21 days at the Venus Studio, tells of the redemption of Jayarajan, who killed his young wife and her lover in a fit of jealousy and is sent to jail. Transferred to a hospital for an operation, the convict’s humanity is rekindled by a kind widow and her son who turn out to be the family of the man Jayarajan killed. However, the hero dies and the script does not allow a new nuclear family to be formed at the end of the film.
