Summary: Vincent’s colour debut also represented a more dramatic style of plotting than his Thoppil Bhasi and Vasudevan Nair b&w scripts. The families of Varkey and Thomman rekindle their ancient feud when they happen to hire adjacent boathouses on the Alwaye lake. However, Varkey’s daughter Stella (Sharada) falls in love with Thomman’s son Johnny (Nazir). The dramatic highlight, when the infant daughter of Stella’s sister falls and is drowned, also leads to the reconciliation. Several songs were major hits.
