Summary: Sethumadhavan’s formula of the decay of feudalism with a sex motive here yields his most bizarre female lead yet, Gayatri Devi (Sheela), who carries out a remorseless vendetta against a feckless former lover, Madhavan Thambi (Sathyan), as she returns to her native village of Moonnar. She buys Madhavan’s estate and his bungalow and harasses him in various ways until Madhavan’s wife asks for mercy. Then, in flashback, Gayatri reveals the story of her past relationship with Madhavan.
