Summary: Based on Annabhau Sathe's novel 'Alaguj' which is a love story of lovers from diverse backgrounds. Rangu is a daughter of a rich farmer and Bapu is a servant hired by her father. Rangu is very fond of Bapu's skill of playing flute(alaguj) and this makes her fall in love with him. After going through the ordeals of a love story, at last they succeed in getting married.
