Summary: This film is about a young working couple, who strive to build a home for themselves in the city of Bombay, so that they can get married. Both come from lower-middle class families and both aspire to a better future. Unfortunately, they develop different views on how to proceed, after a major setback shakes their confidence, especially in the case of the young man.
