Summary: Naresh's widower dad wants him to get married to Mala, the daughter of another widower, Dhaniram, but Naresh refuses to do so, as he is in love with Nirmala, the only child of the owners of Honeymoon Guest House. Arguments ensue between father and son, and Naresh moves out, hoping to convince Nirmala's parents to permit them to marry. He will soon find out that they too will refuse, leaving him with no option but to consider returning home, apologizing to his father, and marrying Mala.
