Summary: An intimate tribute paid to the film-maker S. Sukhdev by his friend, the poet Gulzar, through a collage of photographs and clips.
Ek Akar is an album of S. Sukhdev. The famous documentary film maker of India. Its a montage of those pages of the album where I found some stills of his looks, reactions and gestures. Some of his collections are in the form of shots of his life and death. An image of innocence on one page, a bird chirping on another; an insect on one, and a dead body pasted on another. This collection of images make the personality of S. Sukhdev.
- Gulzar
